October 2010

We started our month off with our 2nd annual Merryhallothakmaseve!  A celebration of all the upcoming holidays.  We dress in costumes and have a turkey dinner, the kids get a present and we toast with sparkling cider.  We look forward to our new tradition every year!

But you know what fall really means in this house....BYU FOOTBALL SEASON!  Squid has yet to go to a live game but she looks dang cute in her little pink jersey! She goes and hangs out with Jason"s sweet cousin Natalie during the games.
And you know it is football season when Daniel's head looks like this!
Part of pre game tailgating fun, the boys love to play football with Uncle Tajia.

 Awwww.......

Kids and cousins watching the band on it's way into the stadium.

Oh how I love a family in blue!!

But this was Con's first live game.  How was it buddy?  Thumbs up!  Perfect!

Group shot- our family, Robbie's family, Uncle Tajia and KimDuke.

We were saying our goodbye's at Robbie's and all of a sudden Brady comes tearing out of the garage in his little vehicle with all the kids on it.  It was so funny!  It was their way of trying to tell us they were not ready to leave.

Part of the fun going to Provo is stopping in St. George to see Ash's family.  They just got a new bird, Con loved playing with him.

 Syd did not.....

Our sweet girl Baila is getting really old and very sick, it's very hard to leave her when we go out of town, we are always afraid something will happen while we are gone.  Luckily she is with mom and dad who just love her but we are trying to take as many pictures as we can with her!

It usually ends with the older two (and sometimes me) crying.  The thought of her not being here anymore is just to heartbreaking to comprehend right now but we have so blessed to have her in our lives!!

I love it! I love your Merryhallothanksmaseve totally. I think we might just have to change our name from Harvest Day to that one. Definitely one of the favorite holidays in our home!
